I have a wicker table and chair set that used to be used for indoor use. I have gotten a new wood table and chairs and would like to put the wicker set outside on my uncovered patio but I don't want to ruin the set. What happens if indoor wicker is put outdoors?

Without a proper wood preservative, it will probably soak up most of the moisture available (Rain, dew mist etc) which will swell the wood allow rot to set in and so on, if you value it, look after it.
